It would be helpful to let the service tech know the furnace model so they have the appropriate replacement parts in stock. The UV light needed replacement and I told the appointment setter to be sure to have it but the tech did not have it in stock. He had to go get one and didn’t complete the service until much later in the afternoon.

I may have even left some good things out, but he was great all the way around. I can also add integrity and courtesy to the list. He was on time, they called to let us know he was on the way and he went right to work and got the job done (even with all our chatting). No nonsense about extras we dont need. Wonderful asset to your company. Very valuable employee for your company too. Even though I wasnt feeling well that day he made it a peasant experience. Thank you Jose. Keep up the great work. Oh and the people we chatted with at Home Depot about the special and the people in the office that we talked with on the phone, another thumbs up to all. Great overall experience. The serviceman was really nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He did exactly what I hoped he would do in my A/C tune-up (diagnose any potential issues, and educate me a bit on my A/C unit). The only problem was that my previously-functioning A/C no longer worked after his visit, which took us hours to realize. The unit inside was blowing air for all it was worth, but the air was no longer cold - it was just recirculating the existing air. Despite the late hour, I'm glad I stepped outside to see if the condenser was running. It wasn't, and the problem was obvious. The electrical shutoff box was gaping, and the unit was disconnected (a common step for condenser maintenance). I snapped a picture of the evidence, easily reconnected the unit, and within hours we were back at the right temperature. All of that said, had I not chosen to watch some YouTube videos, I never would have known where to even begin, and would have been left with a non-functioning unit. Although the tune-up (and what I learned by way of it) was good, the net result of my experience was a unit worse-off than when it started (albeit easily remedied).
